Delete your account
Everything you post on Vaaii can be erased on request. Here is how to ask, what goes, and how long it takes.

Write to us
Email info@vaaii.com with the subject Delete my account, or use the contact form and say the same thing.

Send it from your account's email address
That is how we know the request is really yours. Locked out of that mailbox? Write from any address and tell us the route and rough date of a listing you posted.

We confirm when it is done
Usually within a few days. Thirty at the very most, which is the limit the GDPR sets.
What happens to your data
Deleted permanently
- Your account, name and email address
- Login details and connected sign-in
- Every listing, active and archived
- Your public profile page
- Notification subscriptions on all devices
- Saved preferences and places
Briefly kept
- Backups — taken daily, kept fourteen days. Your account may survive in an older backup until that window passes. We never restore a deleted account from one.
- Messages already sent — an email that reached another member is in their inbox. We cannot reach into somebody else's mail, and we keep no copy.
No payment records exist, because Vaaii never handles money.
Would less than everything do?
You do not have to choose all or nothing.
- Delete any single listing yourself from My Account.
- Ask us to remove particular details while keeping your account open.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or have something corrected.
